I'm checking to see if it does not appear in search engines soon
(2003/02/21) It did! Look here. Google indexes text as rendered, not just as it appears in the source html. So, you can't hide your e-mail address from a google-type spider using this technique.


This one is actually invisible when rendered in the browser; it is only commented out. You can view the source html to see it yourself.
I'm checking to see if it also does not appear in search engines soon.
(2003/02/21) It didn't show up in google. Google does not index text inside html comment fields within the parameters of this experiment. Javascript is usually inside html comment tags. Hmm.
